Meet the Photographer
I'm Kat. I'm a Florida native, and an avid lover of nature, art, space, and music. For as long as I can remember, I have felt called to capture moments. As a child, I spent a good chunk of my mother's money developing countless rolls of film containing images of the things I cherished most - my dogs, my bedroom, and my family. As I grew, so did my love for encapsulating time. I became fascinated by landscape photography, and as I gained more technical skill (and access to a digital camera and computer), I began to experiment with portraiture.
Our Story
In 2012, I launched my first photography business, ALITA Photography - an acronym for A Light In The Attic, and an homage to the picture that made me decide to pursue a career in photography. When I relocated to the Space Coast from Kissimmee, I went on an extended hiatus while I did some growing up into the person I wanted to be. Today, I have decided to start a fresh chapter and a new business that reflects that growth. My mission is to help other people capture and immortalize the essence of their most cherished moments, in a way that is honest and meaningful.
